THE LINWOOD TREES

In 2009, Linwood Park will celebrate its 125th birthday. There have been 25 years of wonderful memories and a whole new generation has grown since the publishing of "Through These Gates: Linwood Park" in celebration of our first 100 years.

New chapters in the life of Linwood need to be recorded for the following generations. Jack Seith and Janet Waggoner are seeking your help in compiling information for a new book about the people that make up Linwood today.

THE LlNWOOD TREES will record the history of each cottage through its current owners and renters. Who are you related to at Linwood? What is your relationship with previous owners and families? When did you first come to Linwood?

You are a part of the Linwood family whether your name is on a deed or your family has rented for many years. Your personal accounts are valuable in making this new book complete.

Start with your branch of your Linwood family tree. Have your family members record their unique histories and fondest memories. Please write down your family members' names, birth dates and first year, if known, that you came to linwood.

This is for renters too! Many renters return year after year. For the relatively new, what makes you want to return? Cottage owners, please pass this information along to your renters, as we do not have their addresses. Or send their contact information to us, and we will send them this information.

We welcome photos too. Electronic documents are preferred but not required. Please label anything that you want returned with both your name and return address.
